MacKenna had her first solid food on her 4-month birthday (Christmas Eve). She did okay with it... Not super excited, but not revolted either.
Then, on January 10th, she discovered bananas. MacKenna was on Mommy's lap, and she seemed really interested. So... I let her smell it. She dove right in and we grabbed the camcorder. Gotta love the HD Flip!
